2021 Live performance featuring an unforgettable collaboration between Jeph Jerman, Doug Theriault, Chris Cogburn, and Caspar Sonnet. The first track features a duet between Jeph (percussion & objects) and Doug Theriault (table top guitar). The second track is a quartet which also includes Chris Cogburn (percussion) and Caspar Sonnet on (prepared lap steel). Jeph and Doug's duet is by far their finest work to date, while the quartet rounds the edges, veiled and hissing. Radio static, shrieking drum heads, muffled pick-up abuse and tumbling objects can be heard throughout. It's both sensitive and severe while traversing along a blaze of wondrous, abstract landscapes. Fans of both free improvisation, extended technique, and noise will thoroughly enjoy this recording. CDr with 4 panel, screen printed artwork.
